The Hundred Islands National Park (Pangasinan: Kapulo-puloan or Taytay-Bakes) is a national park in the Republic of the Philippines. The protected area is located in the city of Alaminos, in the province of Pangasinan in northern Philippines. The islands, totaling 124 at low tide and 123 at high tide,     


A cave crawling and swimming and trekking experience maybe physically tiring by spending 5-6 hours inside the cave. But adventure through caves is part and is worth.

Caves is located in Western Pangasinan

You can get to Alaminos, Pangasinan by bus since no commercial flights are available. Bus lines that go there include Victory Liner, Five Star, Dagupan Bus Co.

Going to this cave would require proper attire to protect your body, would require Long Pants, Rubber Shoes or Aqua shoes and Hand gloves (cloth). It is accessible by car, but expect a 20-30 minute rough ride. Upon getting to the entrance of the cave, a quiet surrounding will welcome you; trees and a couple of picnic huts await.

Before starting to take on the cave, the cave expert tour guides will brief you with instructions on what to bring and secure.


A 42.25 hectares mangrove forest, the Bangrin Marine Protected Area (BMPA) in  Pangasinan, is co-managed by the Municipal Government.

The MPA I which was declared as a bird sanctuary in 2001, is an ideal eco-tourism destination for bird watchers and environmental enthusiasts. Among the birds that can be spotted are the purple heron, rufous night heron, Asian golden plover, common snipe and Philippine wild duck. The are usually seen in the area from December to June. They fly in from as far as China to escape the winter season.

The Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag, located on top of a hill in the town, has been canonically affiliated with the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major in Rome since June 2011. The parish encompassing Manaoag and the surrounding towns is administered by the Order of Preachers under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan. It was officially declared a Basilica on February 17, 2015.

Some of the miracles attributed to Our Lady of Manaoag are depicted in murals inside the church's transepts and nave. The Paschal Chapel beside the south flank of the church has icons of the Black Nazarene of Quiapo, the church's copy of the Santo Entierro (Dead Christ), and other statues of the Virgin Mary. The sanctuary on the left side of the main entrance has a large image of the Crucified Christ.

The town’s attractions are very relaxing place perfect for people who’s looking for places where they can release stress from work. 

You do not prevent yourself to jump and feel the coolness of the clear ocean waters, feel the fragrance of fresh air, play with the gray sand, and taking some pictures of beautiful and gigantic umbrella rocks and to its over steps going to the Light House.  A best place for sunset view,  picture taking in Western Pangasinan.


Lingayen is known for the historical significance of its gulf during the World War II (WWII) which is the extension of the South China Sea. 

Historic Provincial Capitol Building, fronting the historic Lingayen Gulf, where MacArthur’s liberation forces landed at the tail end of WWII for the liberation of Luzon. Built in 1918 and designed by American engineer and architect. It has been identified as one of the eight architectural treasures of the Philippines by NCCA and the Filipino heritage Festival, Inc.
The Veterans Memorial Park is the most important Museum of the Province of Pangasinan they can also see the history of Pangasinan and also can figure what the transformation process after the World War II of Province of Pangasinan.
When Lingayen is mention, one delicacy that will come to our mind is its special product which is “bagoong”. Bagoong, a fish paste, is one of the most important condiments in the kitchen. Because of its quality, it is one of the most in demand for export product.
